Camel Leases

HISTORICALLY A RICH GOLD PRODUCTION AREA

  • Combined production for these areas was 34.64 kilograms gold from 938 tonnes of mined ore @36.88 grammes per tonne:
    • Sons of Australia is recorded in Minedex as 26.3kg Au from 691 tonnes.
    • Camel Leases is recorded in Minedex as 4.39kg Au from142 tonnes @30.9g/t
    • Kruger and Viceroy combined produced 3.95kg Au from 105 tonnes @37g/t (including dollied ore).
  • The gold zone intersected in CL001 is though not to be associated with the main shear zone but is a second parallel lode. It is possible the drilling missed the reef structure in most of the holes
  • The final meter in drill hole CL007 assayed 0.99g/t gold
  • A20429 is from Sons of Gwalia in 1986. It reports a 7-hole RC drilling programme.
  • Gold mineralisation within this tenement is thought to be associated with a narrow shear extending over a 300-meter strike length.  The 1986 drilling program failed to encounter any significant zones of gold mineralisation, however a second parallel lode was defined in one hole

  • Redrilling of this second parallel lode is recommended
